Cheese Sauce with Sausage

Ingredients

  • 2 shallots (chopped finely)
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 package of apple chicken sausage (sliced thin)
  • 24 ounces of heavy cream
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • teaspoon of olive oil
  • 4 ounces of shaved parmesan cheese

Directions

  • add the shallots and 1/4 cup of butter  into a pan on medium low heat
  • add in olive oil and salt and pepper and sauté until shallots are soft 
  • add the sausage into the pan and cook for 20 minutes on medium low heat 
  • add in the cream, 1/4 cup of butter, and salt and pepper
  • cook for 2 minutes or until the sauce begins to bubble
  • stir in parmesan cheese 

SPAGHETTI FROM SCRATCH

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • teaspoon of salt 

Directions

  • mix the salt into the flour
  • put the flour onto the counter and make a bowl in the middle of the flour
  • add the eggs into the middle of flour (the bowl)
  • work the mixture with hands until it is dough
  • wrap with saran wrap and set aside for 1 hour (room temperature)
  • cut each dough ball into quarters
  • flatten the dough until it is pretty thin using the pasta roller (follow pasta roller's instructions because it depends on what kind you use)
  • attach the spaghetti cutter to cut pasta strips into spaghetti
  • hang onto the pasta drying rack to ensure that the pasta does not stick together
  • cook in boiling salt water for about 2 minutes 

Twiced Baked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 pieces of cooked bacon

Directions

  • preheat oven to 425
  • place potatoes on pan
  • top with olive oil, salt, and pepper
  • cook for 1 hour
  • cut cooked bacon into small pieces
  • scoop out insides of potatoes, leave outer skin in tact so that you can put the insides of the potatoes back
  • combine cheese, bacon, sour cream, and potatoes in a bowl. mix well
  • turn oven down to 350 and cook for 20 minutes

Lemon Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 table spoon of olive oil
  • salt 
  • pepper
  • oregano flakes

Directions

  • preheat oven to 400
  • cut lemon in circle pieces
  • place chicken in pan
  • add olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano flakes on top of chicken
  • add two lemon circles on each chicken, put remaining lemon around pan
  • cook for 10 minutes

Tacos

Ingredients

  • ground beef
  • 1/4 cup of chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper

Directions

  • add ingredients to pan and cook for 12-15 minutes

Sliders with Caramelized Onions and Steamed Carrots

We made three different kinds of sliders and added frozen fries from Publix and fruit with this meal!!!


Ingredients

  • 1 bag of baby carrots
  • spoonful of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 package of ground beef
  • montreal steak seasoning
  • worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 of an onion (maybe more depending on the sliders you want to make)
  • 3 strips of bacon (maybe more depending on the sliders you want to make)
  • 3 slices of American cheese (maybe more depending on the sliders you want to make)
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

Directions

Bacon and Cheese Slider

  • cut bacon in half and cook bacon in a pan (not fully cooked but floppy)
  • cut 1 slice of cheese in half
  • take a small amount of ground beef and add cooked bacon and cheese on top. Add the rest of the ground beef (about the size of a ping pong ball) and roll into a ball. Set aside

Plain Slider

  • take enough ground beef to make a ball the size of a ping pong ball and roll the meat int a ball. Set aside.

Onion Slider

  • dice the onion
  • get a small amount of ground beef. add about half of a handful with the meat and roll into a ball the size of a ping pong ball. Set aside. 

Put all the sliders made into the refrigerator.


Steamed Carrots

  • add whole bag of steamed carrots into a small pot
  • add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • add garlic
  • add 1 teaspoon of salt
  • add 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • cook for fifteen minutes stirring occasionally

Caramelized Onions

  • add the rest of the chopped onions into a pan with olive oil and salt and pepper. cook until onions are see through
  • add sugar and cook for about five minutes stirring occasionally. (until onions are a golden brown)

Cooking Sliders

  • take sliders out of the refrigerator and marinate with Montreal steak sauce (about a teaspoon for each slider) and Worcestershire sauce (just a couple drops for each slider)
  • butter pan and cook each slider for about 5-10 minutes
  • If you want cheese, cook slider until almost finished and then add cheese on top for about two minutes

Then top your sliders with the toppings of your choice (especially the caramelized onions!)

Chicken Alfredo Pasta with Green Beans


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pasta (I used pasta shells)
  • 4 teaspoons of salt 
  • 1/2 of an onion 
  • 1 cup of chicken broth 
  • 1/2 tablespoon of garlic 
  • 2 skinless chicken breasts 
  • 1/2 stick of butter 
  • 1 pack of green beans 
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil 
  • 4 1/2 cups of water 
  • 3 strips of bacon


Directions

Chicken

  • dice ½ of an onion
  • butter pan
  • put slice of butter and ½ of the diced onions in buttered pan. Cook until onions are clear
  • add garlic and chicken broth into pan. add another slice of butter and chicken. 
  • cook for 10-15 minutes depending on how big slice of chicken is
  • once chicken is done, cut into bite size pieces

Pasta

  • follow directions on box of pasta used

Green Beans

  • cut strips of bacon into small pieces
  • cook bacon on pan until floppy (not fully cooked)
  • add green beans, slice of butter, and olive oil into pan with bacon
  • cook for five minute

Alfredo Sauce

  • poor Alfredo sauce into a sauce pan
  • set stove on medium and warm sauce for 3-4 minutes
  • pour Alfredo sauce into bowl with chicken and pasta and mix
